Description	:	Terry Shiflett, 59, a lifetime resident of Wenatchee Heights, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2006, on his ranch. He was born on December 4, 1946, in Wenatchee, Washington to Ned and Anna Mae Shiflett, the eldest of their four children. He graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1965, and entered the U.S. Navy. He transferred to the Marine Corp where he served as a Medic during the Vietnam Era. Read More	Terry Shiflett, 59, a lifetime resident of Wenatchee Heights, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2006, on his ranch. He was born on December 4, 1946, in Wenatchee, Washington to Ned and Anna Mae Shiflett, the eldest of their four children. He graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1965, and entered the U.S. Navy. He received his honorable discharge in 1969, and returned to Wenatchee Heights, where he became a well known Cherry Farmer. He married Kim Clark at Reno, Nevada in 1992. They made their home together on Wenatchee Heights. Terry enjoyed hunting, camping, riding horses and branding cows. He branded cows with his cousins, Jeff and Dane Keane at their ranch on Badger Mountain with his good friend, Billy Scroggie. He also looked forward to branding time at his good friend, Billy Scroggie's Clockum Ranch. He is survived by his wife, Kim; and son, Luke of Wenatchee Heights; daughters, Deanna and her husband, Greg Quantrille, Wapato, WA, Beth and her husband, Lonnie Smith, Vancouver, WA; four grandchildren, Emily and Sebastian of Wapato, WA and Haelee and Damon of Vancouver, WA; his mom and dad, Anna Mae and Ned Shiflett of Wenatchee Heights; two brothers, Darwin Shiflett of East Wenatchee and Kevin Shiflett of Wenatchee; and a sister, Anita DeWitt of East Wenatchee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Inurnment Services will be held in the Stemilt Hill Cemetery on Wenatchee Heights, Friday morning, May 12, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Gordon Goodwin officiating. A reception for the family and friends will follow at the Stemilt Hill Grange. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
