She was born on August 31, 1909 at rural DeWitt, Nebraska and attended rural and Parochial School at Trinity Lutheran of rural Beatrice. She was married to William G. J. Seitz on August 24, 1930 at Trinity Lutheran Church of rural Beatrice, Nebraska and they lived and farmed in the Plymouth area. She was born on August 31, 1909 at rural DeWitt, Nebraska and attended rural and Parochial School at Trinity Lutheran of rural Beatrice. She was married to William G. J. Seitz on August 24, 1930 at Trinity Lutheran Church of rural Beatrice, Nebraska and they lived and farmed in the Plymouth area. She had been a member of the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plymouth, Nebraska for over 50 years. She enjoyed gardening, especially African violets. Survivors include one son, Les Seitz and his wife Mary Kay of Spring, Texas. Two daughters, Annette Williams and her husband Bill of Savannah, Tennessee and Kathy Beerenstrauch and her husband Tom of Lincoln, Nebraska. One son-in-law, John Sevy of Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Two daughters-in-law, Erma Seitz of Elwood, Nebraska and Alma Seitz of Beatrice, Nebraska. 10 grandchildren, Karen Ard of Eldorado, Kansas, Pam Heiden and her husband Dean of Lincoln, Nebraska, Sheri Seitz of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mark Seitz and his wife Jean of Kearney, Nebraska, Michael Sevy of Spring Lake, North Carolina, Joseph Sevy of Shreveport, Louisiana, Gary Williams and his wife Cynthia of Savannah, Tennessee, Larry Seitz of Spring, Texas, Brent Beerenstrauch and his wife Buffy of Lincoln, Nebraska and Chad Beerenstrauch of Firth, Nebraska. 11 great-grandchildren, Brenda, Brenae and Brian Ard; Erin Heiden; Brandon and Jason Seitz; Kristina Sevy; Jessica and Jason Williams; Alexis Seitz and Kane Beerenstrauch. Two sisters, Viola Michael and Irene Huffman and her husband Carl all of Omaha, Nebraska. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry, Jr. and Bertha Schaefer Hahn, her husband William G.J. Seitz who died on December 22, 1976, two sons, Junior and Homer Seitz, one daughter Arnella Sevy, one granddaughter, Christina Seitz, one great-granddaughter Brianna Ard, one sister Amelia Hahn and two brothers Cecil and Victor Hahn. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Plymouth, Nebraska with Pastor Joel Frank and Pastor Daniel Heiderich officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery of Plymouth, Nebraska. A family prayer service will be held at 10:45 A.M. at the church. A memorial has been established to the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with the church elders in charge. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Plymouth, Nebraska from 8:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday and then at the church on Saturday one hour preceding the services. A guestbook for signatures and messages of condolence is also available online at www.foxfuneralhome.net. Fox Funeral Home of Plymouth, Nebraska in charge of arrangements.
