Description	:	The Carroll Times, Carroll, Iowa Thursday, March 25, 1926 Funeral services for Thelma Daiker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Daiker of Greene, Iowa, were held at the St. Lawrence church Saturday morning, March 20, at 9 o'clock. Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery in this city beside her small brother and sister, who died some years ago. The pallbearers were Bernice Walz, Lourise Plelsticker, Evelyn Rettenmaier, Frances Maystadt, Catherine Joebgen and Harriet Bayley. Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery in this city beside her small brother and sister, who died some years ago. The pallbearers were Bernice Walz, Lourise Plelsticker, Evelyn Rettenmaier, Frances Maystadt, Catherine Joebgen and Harriet Bayley. Thelma was born at Oelwein February 12, 1912. and died at her home in Greene, Ia., Wednesday morning, March 17, at 11 o'clock. Her last illness was of about a week's duration with flu which effected her heart. Previous to her illness, she had suffered with attacks of flu, two other times during a short period. She was in the eighth grade at the school in Greene and was a bright, lovable little girl, whose death is deeply mourned by her parents, her two brothers and two sisters. Her remains were brought to Carroll and were taken to the home of her aunts, Misses Catherine and Irene Conner, arriving in the city, Friday. Miss Grace Daiker, registered nurse, who was called to Greene to care for her niece, reached Thelma's bedside two hours after her death. -------------------------------------- Thelma was a sister to Raymond, Loraine, Maxine, Merle, Wilbur, and a baby sister who died in infancy.
