Thelma Dyke was born May 5, 1903, in Chambers and graduated from high school there in 1921. She spent most of her life there and attended Grand Island Baptist College for two years. She married Leo Adams on Sept. 14, 1924, in Chambers. He died March 16, 1990. Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Warren of Albuquerque, N.M., and Carolyn Christiansen of Fremont; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Baptist Church in Chambers. The Rev. Dick Atkison will officiate. Visitation will be 3 this afternoon until 9 tonight at Biglins Mortuary in O'Neill and an hour before services at the church. A P.E.O memorial service will be 7 tonight at the mortuary.
