O. and Mary "Winnie" Bryson. She graduated from Ponce de Leon High School, Coral Gables, class of 1946 and was a former member of Bryan Memorial Methodist Church. She was a member of a synchronized swim team that performed at various hotels in the south Florida area during the 1940s. O. and Mary "Winnie" Bryson. She graduated from Ponce de Leon High School, Coral Gables, class of 1946 and was a former member of Bryan Memorial Methodist Church. She was a member of a synchronized swim team that performed at various hotels in the south Florida area during the 1940s. She was the first female hired when GMAC office re-opened after World War II in Miami. In 1951, she married Charles "Dick" Wilson and moved to West Haven, Conn., where her husband worked at Yale University. In 1967, the family moved to Port Jefferson, N.Y., when Dick joined Brookhaven National Laboratory. Thelma worked as a secretary for the Lab Department at St. Charles Hospital for over 20 years. She and her husband retired to Crescent City in 1990, and Thelma served on the Planning and Zoning Board of Crescent City until her illness. She was also a member of the Crescent City Woman's Club and the D.A.R. She is survived by her husband, Dick; children, Anne and husband, Joseph Salomone, Jane and husband, John Brucker, Charles M. and wife, Judy Wilson; three granddaughters; sisters, Minnie Lee Todd, Ruth Roberts and Mary Parsons; brother, Oscar Bryson.
