Description	:	Thelma J. Lueders, 79 years of age, of Beatrice, Nebraska died at her home on Thursday, May 5, 2005. She was born on December 4, 1925 at Linn, Kansas and grew up in Kansas. She was baptized and confirmed at Linn, Kansas. She moved to Beatrice in August of 1946 and was married to John H. Lueders on February 8, 1948 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Beatrice, Nebraska. Lueders, 79 years of age, of Beatrice, Nebraska died at her home on Thursday, May 5, 2005. She was born on December 4, 1925 at Linn, Kansas and grew up in Kansas. She was baptized and confirmed at Linn, Kansas. She moved to Beatrice in August of 1946 and was married to John H. Lueders on February 8, 1948 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Beatrice, Nebraska. They lived and farmed near Clatonia for 12 years and then moved back to Beatrice in 1959. She was employed at Formfit for 13 years and for the Beatrice State Developmental Center for 13 years, retiring in 1986. Thelma also worked and volunteered at the Salvation Army Family Service Store in Beatrice for many years. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Beatrice, Nebraska. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary all of Beatrice, Nebraska. She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and collecting family pictures. Survivors include three sons, Michael Lueders and Rodney Lueders and his wife Doris all of Beatrice, Nebraska and Ed Lueders and his wife Kris of Ogden, Utah. Two daughters, Cheryl Stevens and her husband Jim of McCook, Nebraska and Karen Lueders of Pasadena, California. 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Velma Munstermann and Norma Lohse both of Beatrice, Nebraska and Florene Betten of Littleton, Colorado. One sister-in-law Betty Boerger of Beatrice, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Louise Oestrich Boerger, her husband John who died on April 18, 1971, one granddaughter Samantha Lorna Stevens, four brothers Walter, Marvin, Robert and Milton Boerger and three sisters Christina Lehman, Della Rogge and Lorna Cramblit. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, May 9, 2005 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Beatrice, Nebraska with Pastor Douglas D. Irmer and Pastor Timothy W. Wagner officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery of Clatonia, Nebraska. A family prayer service will be held at 9:45 A.M. in the fellowship room of the church. A memorial has been established to the family’s choice with Connie and Dick Jensen in charge. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice, Nebraska until 9:00 P.M. Sunday evening and then on Monday at the church one hour preceding the service. A guestbook for signatures and message of condolence is also available online at www.foxfuneralhome.net. Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
