She was a resident of NHC Healthcare Center, Smithville, a homemaker, and a member of the Pisgah United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the Pisgah Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patey Hawker and Versie Hawker; her first husband, W.J.Yates; her second husband, Fred Townsley; a sister, Clara Williams; brothers, Bratten Hawker, Hobert Hawker, Junior Hawker, and Omar Allen.
