Born in Johnsonville, she was a daughter of the late Axley V. Cox and Eulee Turner Cox Prosser. She was a homemaker. At the time of her death she was the oldest member of the Vox United Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She attended Vox school. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law of Johnsonville; daughters and sons-in-law of Lakeland, Fla., of Florence, of Johnsonville; brothers of Johnsonville; sisters of Scranton, of Hemingway, of Johnsonville; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, David and Devoe Stone; four brothers, Winston Cox, R.H. Cox, Doward Prosser, Edgar Prosser; two sisters, Clyder Thompson, Pauline McDaniel; two grandsons.
