Description	:	Thelma M. Ringeisen, 97, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:20 P.M. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle, IN. She was born on January 30, 1917 in Kokomo to the late Chris and Cozy (Henry) Brubaker. She married Rev. Garold D. Ringeisen on February 28, 1937 and he preceded her in death, on October 24, 1987. Ringeisen, 97, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:20 P.M. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle, IN. She was born on January 30, 1917 in Kokomo to the late Chris and Cozy (Henry) Brubaker. She married Rev. Garold D. Ringeisen on February 28, 1937 and he preceded her in death, on October 24, 1987. Her great love was for her children and grandchildren, the example of a loving mother. Her great compassion and warm sense of humor helped her to be an ideal “pastor’s wife” and she served in that responsibility with a passion. She smiled her way through many word puzzle games and loved to color pictures. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She had a life-long love of basketball, beginning with her being the #1 cheerer for her older brother who was the “star” of their high school team. Her children can remember many evenings beside the radio with her, cheering for the beloved Kokomo Wildkats. This love for basketball continued into her golden years, which as an avid Indiana Pacers fan, she never missing a televised game. Even during her last days, she inquired as to the team’s success. Thelma is survived by her four children, Shirley M. (Jim) Bowman, of Hagerstown, IN, Richard D. (Carolyn) Ringeisen, of Clemson, SC, Ronald L. (Karen) Ringeisen, of Cripple Creek, CO, and Teddy A. (Juanita) Ringeisen; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mona Brubaker, of Kokomo; and several nieces and nephews. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband; and brothers, Thurmond Brubaker and Bobby Joe Brubaker. There will be a funeral service for Thelma at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Church of the Brethren, 311 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo, Indiana, with Pastor Mark Stahl officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Friday,
