Description	:	Thelma Mae Gose, age 96, of Sioux Falls and formerly of Wolsey, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society-Sioux Falls Village. Her funeral service was Friday, August 16 at First Presbyterian Church in Wolsey with military honors by the Wolsey American Legion. Thelma Mae Power was born on June 18, 1923 to parents William E. and Edna M. (Strubhar) Power in Huron. She attended high school in Huron. Thelma Mae Power was born on June 18, 1923 to parents William E. and Edna M. (Strubhar) Power in Huron. She attended high school in Huron. Thelma joined the Women’s Army Air Corp and was stationed in Texas, Arizona and Southern California. Thelma married Herbert Gose in Wolsey on March 3, 1953. Thelma and Herbert lived on the farm for 30 years. Thelma enjoyed reading, mostly westerns and mysteries. She learned how to operate a computer and enjoyed keeping up with friends and family on Facebook. She was a member of the Wolsey American Legion Auxiliary. Thelma had a great sense of humor and enjoyed conversing with people. She enjoyed watching Twins baseball games. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Herbert in 1989; two infant daughters, Barbara Ann and Linda Mae; two brothers, William Power and Calvin Power; and one sister, Lu Morrow. Thelma is survived by her children, James Gose of Huron, Debra Kloer of Skammon, KS, and Melinda (Vincent Nesheim) Gose of Sioux Falls; two grandchildren, Christine (Steve) Bass and Nicholas Kloer, all of Joplin, MO; and one sister, Betty Presuhn of Huron.
