She was born Feb. 12, 1915, at Martins Ferry, OH, to Cortland and Ellen (Rothermond) Brokaw and had been a Canton resident since 1946. She was a 1933 graduate of Washington High School, Massillon, OH, past president of the Massillon PTA, and was a very active 56 year member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Massillon. She was born Feb. 12, 1915, at Martins Ferry, OH, to Cortland and Ellen (Rothermond) Brokaw and had been a Canton resident since 1946. She was a 1933 graduate of Washington High School, Massillon, OH, past president of the Massillon PTA, and was a very active 56 year member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Massillon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Peel (8/26/1995), and a brother, C. Lewis Brokaw. She is survived by sons, Patrick L. and Thomas A. Peel, both of Jackson Township, OH; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle Funeral Home, Massillon, with Rev. Kenneth Kubichek officiating. Burial will be at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 1600 Main Ave. West, Massillon, OH 44647.
