A time of visitation will be from 2-7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, at the Linn's Funeral Home, Iowa Falls, with the family present from 5-7:00 p.m. Thelma May Meyer, was born on May 6, 1912, on her parents' farm in Franklin County, the daughter of Clara (Christman) and Fred L. Meyer. She attended the Maysville Country School in Franklin County. On October 17, 1935, she was united in marriage to Russell Williams at her parents' home in Franklin County. To this union three children were born, Jerry, David and Steven. Thelma was a housewife, homemaker and a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Iowa Falls, and the Christian Women's Fellowship of the church, holding all the offices of that organization. She loved gardening and especially her flowers, including her specialty, Easter and Christmas Cactus. Thelma Williams is survived by two sons, Jerry (Pat) Williams of Iowa Falls and David (Pam) Williams of Guthrie, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Tammy (Chris) Cooper of Iowa Falls, Tracy Williams Dennis of Plano, Texas, Tarra (Todd) Richard of Davenport, Dennis J. "D.J." Williams and fiancée, Catherine White of Iowa Falls, Matthew (Jennifer) Williams of Owasso, Oklahoma, Kimberly (Tony) Dionisio of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Kaylee Williams of Guthrie, Oklahoma; 13 great-grandchildren, Erin, Maggie and Samantha Cooper of Iowa Falls, Catie Dennis of Plano, Sydney, Cameron and Paige Richard of Davenport, Kyler Williams of Iowa Falls, Luke and Madison Williams of Owasso and Charlie, Jack and Henry Dionisio of Tulsa; and one brother, William "Bill" (Dorothy) Meyer of Iowa Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Fred L. Meyer; her husband, Russell Williams; one son, Steven Williams; one brother and his wife, Lavern and Mable Meyer; and one sister and her husband, Nina and Kenneth Picht. © Iowa Falls Times Citizen 2009
