Description	:	Theodora Felton Breedin, 92, widow of L. Spencer Breedin, died Tuesday, December 16, 2003, in Toumey Hospital in Sumter. Born January 21, 1911, in Townville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Brown Felton and the late Maggie Speares Felton. She grew up in Columbia, graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina, where in her junior year she was elected to membership in Eta Sigma Phi, honorary Ancient Language Society and served as president her senior year. Spencer Breedin, died Tuesday, December 16, 2003, in Toumey Hospital in Sumter. Born January 21, 1911, in Townville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Brown Felton and the late Maggie Speares Felton. She grew up in Columbia, graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina, where in her junior year she was elected to membership in Eta Sigma Phi, honorary Ancient Language Society and served as president her senior year. In her senior year she was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa, National Honorary Society. She taught school at Calhoun Falls, Abbeville, and Manning High School. She was a charter member and served as first full-time president of the Manning Garden Club and was president of Manning Council of Garden Clubs. Other times she served as secretary and treasurer, a charter member and first president of Clarendon Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of Manning United Methodist Church where she served as president of Manning United Methodist Women, chairperson of Commission of Missions, secretary of Administrative Board, teacher of College Students and presently served as one of the teachers of the Ladies Bible Class.
