Read More	This cemetery also called "Old Norwegian Cemetery" Theodore A, Olson, 68, died at the farm home northwest of Eureka early Sunday morning, September 28, 1941. Mr. Olson suffered a heart attack and paralysis in July 1939, and despite loving care and medical aid, he had gradually failed in strength during the years following and more rapidly during the past year. Patient and cheerful, his only request was to be permitted to be up and around each day, a privilege he enjoyed almost to the very last. Theodore Adolph Olson, the son of Austin and Johanna Olson, was born at Canby, Minn., November 18, 1872, and was baptized in infancy in the Lutheran faith. In 1883, he came to Kansas, with his mother, Mrs. Johanna Olson, and six brothers and on sister; Gilbert, deceased; Gustav, deceased; John, deceased; Carl, Henry, Martin, and Mrs. Sophia Sounders. On December 19, 1902, he was united in marriage to Miss Nellie Olson, of Greenwood county. To them were born nine children, all of whom are living; Alvin, George, Roy, Mrs. Pearl Criswell, Richard, Phyllis, Earl, Tony, and Evelyn. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, nine children and ten grandchildren and a number of other more distant relatives. Mr. Olson spent 58 years of his life in Greenwood county and more than thirty years on the farm home in the Upper Fall River community. The testimony of his loved ones is that he was a good husband nad father, and the entire community of friends and neighbors bespeak nothing but respect for him. Funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Frisbie L. Young, pastor of the Fall River Luthers Church with the Baird Funeral Home in charge. Services were at the home at 2:00 p.m. at the Fall River Lutheran Church with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery near the church. Special music was a quartette composed of Ole Hendrickson, Gilbert Peterson, Mrs. Donald Breech and Mrs. Frisbie L. Young. From Eureka Herald 2 October 1941 page 1.
