Description	:	Theodore "Ted" Larson, 69, of Omaha died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Mr. Larson was born April 16, 1940, at Fargo, N.D., to Reuben and Marcella (Elftman) Larson. He married Margaret Ann Welty on June 2, 1963, at the United Methodist Church in Loup City. Mr. Larson was born April 16, 1940, at Fargo, N.D., to Reuben and Marcella (Elftman) Larson. He married Margaret Ann Welty on June 2, 1963, at the United Methodist Church in Loup City. She preceded him in death. Survivors of the immediate family include a son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Robyn Larson of Mountain Home, Idaho; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Aaron Lagemann of Omaha and Jill and Todd Stover of Kearney; a brother, Jim Larson of Broken Bow; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathleen and John Kerner of Lexington, Marsha and Ron Eurek of Omaha and Mary and Jim Dooley of Norfolk. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Jessica, Claire and Jackson Lagemann and Alex Wolfe of Omaha, Chris, Calvin and Cassie Stover of Kearney, Ayden and Austin Larson of Mountain Home, Idaho; great-granddaughter, Layna Piatt of Omaha; mother-in-law, Roberta Welty of Loup City; and friend, Lori Ryan of York. He was educated in Loup City and graduated in 1958. He attended electrical trade school in Omaha and upon graduation in June 1962, he enlisted in the United States Army and was assigned to the White House Communications Agency under John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. In June, 1965 he was honorably discharged. Upon his discharge he worked 44 years for IBM until his death. He enjoyed fishing and watching sunsets at his cabin at the Sherman Reservoir near Loup City. He also enjoyed traveling and being with his family.
