He leaves a wife and eight children to mourn his loss and they have the sympathy of all their friends. ==================== The Hebron Register (Hebron, NE), Friday, August 28, 1908; pg. 8 CHESTER. From the Herald DECEASED - Theodore Frye was called to his reward last Wednesday evening about 5 o'clock and funeral services were conducted Friday morning by Rev. Cobbey at the M.E. Church. The remains were interred in Chester cemetery (sic). Theodore Frye was born in Schall Germany in 1843 and died at the age of 65 yrs. 6 months and 22 days. His father died when Theodore was but four years of age and some benevolent gentleman raised and educated him for a Lutheran Minister, but he prefered (sic) the Methodist church. In 1861 he came to this country and settled in Illinois. He served in the Federal Army and at the end of the Civil War, he was married to Miss Sabine Wolfe. In 1879 he came to Nebraska and lived in and near Chester until his decease. Out of a family of ten children, eight survive him together with a noble wife. The many friends of the family extend their sympathy in their hour of bereavement.
