Taken from the Lawrence Locomotive 12/10/1928 The death of Theodore Reining of St. Stephens occurred at 2:30 p.m. Friday of last week at the home of Barney Kimminau. Mr. Reining was born in Hanover, Germany March 1, 1857 and died December 3, 1926, at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 2 days. Deceased had been sick only for a short time before his death with pneumonia and his condition was not thought to be critical. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Barney Kimminau of St. Stephens, where he had been making his home for a number of years. Two brothers Herman and Garret Reining passed away a number of years ago. Funeral services were held on Monday morning at ten o'clock at St. Stephens church.
