Description	:	Mr. Theodore Ruben Presler, age 80, of Lohrville (Redgranite), Wis., died Monday afternoon, Sept. 18, 2006, at his home. He was born April 9, 1926, on the family farm in Jud, N.D., the son of Gottlieb and Emilie Schmolke Hartmann Presler. He had been married to Lois Bailey, whom he married Dec. 25, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church in Edgeley, N.D. Read More	Mr. Theodore Ruben Presler, age 80, of Lohrville (Redgranite), Wis., died Monday afternoon, Sept. 18, 2006, at his home. He was born April 9, 1926, on the family farm in Jud, N.D., the son of Gottlieb and Emilie Schmolke Hartmann Presler. He had been married to Lois Bailey, whom he married Dec. 25, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church in Edgeley, N.D. Lois died in 1991 Ted was raised and farmed in North Dakota, and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Edgeley, N.D., where he served as an usher. He moved to Minot, N.D., where he worked construction. He helped build the water treatment plant in Minot. He also worked in the plant. While in Minot, he was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where he also served as an usher. He lived in Minot from 1961 to 1978. He moved to Alberton and lived there from 1978 to 1993. He was employed by the Missoula school system as a boiler engineer and custodian until his retirement at age 62. Ted has lived in the Lohrville, Wis., area since 1993. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Montana and in Appleton, Wis. He enjoyed meeting people. He really loved birthday parties, which he called celebrations of life. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching professional wrestling. He loved tinkering with cars, and had built a miniature Willis auto and a mini-scooter. Ted was also a Green Bay Packers fan. "All in all, he lived an interesting life of 80 years. He treated his friends like family." Survivors include a son, Terry A. Presler of rural Redgranite, Wis.; a daughter, Coleen Presler of Jamestown, N.D.; two granddaughters, Missey O'Connor of Neenah, Wis., and Jenny O'Connor of Oshkosh, Wis.; a grandson, Travis Martin of Oshkosh, Wis.; and a great-granddaughter, Gabriel Martin. Ted is also survived by two brothers, Robert (Estella) Presler of Orono, Minn., and Marvin G. (Cheryl) Presler of Rosemount, Minn.; a sister, Lenora (Leonard) Ross of Garrison, N.D.; a son-in-law, Michael O'Connor of Waukau, Wis.; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. Preceding Ted in death were his daughter, Peggy O'Connor; his parents; and his wife, Lois.
