Description	:	Theodore "Ted" Fandrich was born April 9, 1923, at Chaseley, ND, the son of Samuel and Charlotte (Koenig) Fandrich. He grew up and attended school in Bowdon, ND. In 1937 he began work as a carpenter. He moved to Carrington, ND, in 1940 and worked construction. He joined the U.S. Marines during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1945. He married Inez Anderson on June 14, 1945, in Carrington. They lived in Carrington where he built many homes, churches, and other projects in the area. Read More	Theodore "Ted" Fandrich was born April 9, 1923, at Chaseley, ND, the son of Samuel and Charlotte (Koenig) Fandrich. He grew up and attended school in Bowdon, ND. In 1937 he began work as a carpenter. He moved to Carrington, ND, in 1940 and worked construction. He joined the U.S. Marines during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1945. He married Inez Anderson on June 14, 1945, in Carrington. They lived in Carrington where he built many homes, churches, and other projects in the area. He retired and continued doing small projects and repairs in the "little red barn" he built in his backyard. Ted Fandrich died Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Golden Acres Manor, Carrington. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Debra (Leon) Paczkowski, Cooperstown, ND, Becky (Steve) Heiden, Fargo, ND, and Rosemary (Paul) Ebert, Granville, IL; two sons, Michael (Judy), New Rockford, ND, and Neil (Jill), Carrington; a sister, Rosella (Lemore) Greenshields, Beulah, ND, 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and five sisters. Services were Monday, June 23, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Carrington, with the Rev. Bruce Vold officiating.
