She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Leo LaCroix. Born Theresa E. Lizotte in Fall River on March 28, 1918, Theresa was a daughter of the late Severe and Celina (Senechal) Lizotte. She was educated in North Attleboro. Theresa was employed as a machine operator at the former Sweet Paper Box Company in Norton for many years. She was also employed at the Old Colony Nursing Home in Norton and the former Ridgewood Court Nursing Home, currently the Golden Living Center, in Attleboro. A homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, Theresa resided in Norton from 1947-1986 and later resided twenty years in North Dighton. She spent many summers and falls in Lisbon, New Hampshire. Theresa was a devoted wife and mother and in later years enjoyed the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. LaCroix is survived by two sons: Paul L. LaCroix of Attleboro and Daniel J. LaCroix of North Dighton; a sister: Bertha Rose of East Providence; four grandchildren: Michelle LaCroix, Michael LaCroix, Stephanie Howe and Aimee LaCroix; three great-grandchildren: Nathan LaCroix, Bruce LaCroix and Cameron Howe; a dear niece: Margaret Chaves and her husband August of Rehoboth; and other nieces and nephews. She was the beloved sister of the late Antoinette Lortie, Laura LaBonte, Peter, Edward and Paul Lizotte.
