WARBORG was born on August 31, 1904, in Alexandria, South Dakota, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Schomer) Marso. She died on Tuesday, January 30, 1996 at the United Retirement Center in Brookings, South Dakota, at the age of 91 years. Theresa received her education in rural schools in Hanson County, South Dakota. She was united in marriage to John P. Warborg on February 27, 1930, in Alexandria. After their marriage they farmed near Emery, South Dakota, until 1934, when they moved to Alvord, Iowa. In 1936, they moved to Rock Rapids, Iowa. In 1943 they moved near Estelline, South Dakota, where they farmed until 1972. John died on April 12, 1972. Theresa continued to live on the farm until 1981, when she moved to Brookings. In 1982, she became a resident of the United Retirement Center. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Brookings. She was a past member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Estelline, and a past member of the Altar Society. She especially enjoyed crocheting. Theresa is survived by three sons, Robert Warborg, Jack Warborg and his wife, Karen, all of Estelline, and Ambrose "Mick" Warborg and his wife, Brenda of Brookings; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Hilda Marso, and one brother, Raphael Marso, both of Mitchell, South Dakota, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Anna; three brothers, Leo, Andrew, Edward, and one great-granddaughter, Heather.
