Theresa grew up in the Greeley, Nebraska area graduating from Greeley Sacred Heart (NE.) High School in 1942. She married Joseph "Joe" Fenton on June 3, 1946 in Greeley, Nebraska. Theresa grew up in the Greeley, Nebraska area graduating from Greeley Sacred Heart (NE.) High School in 1942. She married Joseph "Joe" Fenton on June 3, 1946 in Greeley, Nebraska. To this union four children were born. Theresa and Joe made their home in O'Neill, Nebraska. Along with being wife, mother and homemaker for her family Theresa also was Secretary and Receptionist for Kansas Nebraska Gas Company for 20 years. In later years, Theresa was a worthy servant to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, opening the church every morning by 6 AM, and leading the Rosary before morning Mass for 13 years. Theresa was a member of St. Patrick's Church, O'Neill, Nebraska and St. Patrick's Altar Society. Theresa was preceded in death by: parents; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; 1 son-in-law, Evan Steele and grandson, Colin Kirschmer. Theresa is survived by: husband, Joseph "Joe" Fenton of O'Neill, Nebraska; son, Tim Fenton and his wife, Ann of Pierce, Nebraska; daughters, Ann Pongratz and her husband, Richard of O'Neill, Nebraska, Mary Steele of O'Neill, Nebraska and Alexis Kirschmer and her husband, Larry of O'Neill, Nebraska; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Johnson of Omaha, Nebraska; brothers Alex Nordhues and his wife, Gloria, of Vacaville, Califonia and Pete Nordhues and his wife, Dorothy of Spalding, Nebraska; sisters-in-law, Illa, Helen and Edith Nordhues and a host of family and friends. Interment was in O'Neill Cemetery, O'Neill, Nebraska.
