When she did not return as soon as expected, her son, Ferd Frickenstein and a young woman employee went out to investigate and found her dead. ...The Creighton News 16 April 1953 ******** Mrs. Frickenstein Rites Conducted Friday Funeral services were conducted Friday morning, April 17 at nine o'clock at St. Ludger Catholic Church for Mrs. Theresia Frickenstein, age 68, who passed away late Sunday afternoon of a heart attack. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph B. Falke officiated. Burial was in St. Ludger Cemetery. Pallbearers were six nephews, Lloyd Beckman, Norbert Krienert, Leo Reimann, Norbert Gubbels, George Brester and Ferdinand Reimann. Mrs. Frickenstein was born at West Point Sept. 6, 1884. She was united in marriage to Adam Frickenstein at West Point Feb. 21, 1905. After their marriage they made their home on a farm near West Point. In 1907 they moved to Creighton, where they lived for five years. They moved onto a farm four and a half miles south of Creighton, where she lived until her death. Mr. Frickenstein preceded her in death three years ago. To this union seven children were born, all of whom survive. They are Anna Fletcher and Mary Frickenstein of Los Angeles, Calif., Matilda Johnson of Van Nuys, Calif., Henry of Chicago, Ill, Theresa Frickenstein of West Point, Joe of Creighton and Ferdinand at home. Also surviving are six grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Krienert of Osmond and Ferdinand Krienert of Panama; seven sisters, Sister Walburga of Gallup, N.M., Mrs. Rose Daschner of Saskatchewan, Canada, Mrs. Celelia Gubbels of Osmond, Mrs. Josephine Reimann of West Point, Mrs. Anna Reimann of Beemer, Mrs. Mary Brester of Howells and Mrs. Augusta Beckman of Creighton.
