Description	:	Thermon Spears, age 62, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at Mitchell Nursing Home in Danville. He was born August 2, 1948 in Briggsville, the son of the late Wilbert and Thelma Dobbs Spears. He retired from Deltic Lumber Company and Wayne Farms. He was baptized at the Chalybeate Springs Missionary Baptist church and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melissa Spears Sherrill; son-in-law, Mark Meirndorf; infant grandson, Bradley Meirndorf and a sister, Juanita Spears Alvey. Hill of Rover, Autumn, Hannah and Whitney Sherrill of Dardanelle and a host of nephews and nieces. Graveside service was March 17, 2011 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Briggsville, AR with Bro. Harold Walker officiating. Pallbearers were: Ray, David and Dereck Fowler, Andy and Kenny Phipps, Kris Burnett and Joey Nelms. Honorary were: Ronny, Tony & Jerry Spears, Bobby Melton, Alvie Emberton, Bro. Vergil Lewis, David Hill, Lewis Horn, Stacy Fowler, Thomas Shelton and Mitchell Nursing Home Staff.
