Georgetown County Coroner J. A. Broach identified the two men as Thomas A. Rheuark Jr. and J. Earl "Sue" Mishoe Sr. The two men were fishing about noon Wednesday near Base Hill Plantation about 12 miles outside of Georgetown, according to Broach, when they drowned. He said, a man off on the shore said, the two were thrown from their fishing boat when one of the cylinders of their 65-horse power motor misfired, lunged and tossed them from their swivel-type seats. The body of one of the men was recovered at 9 a.m. Thursday and the other at about 1 p.m. Double funeral services for Mr. Rheuark and Mr. Mishoe will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist church with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Rheuark, 53, was born in Conway, a son of Mrs. Emma Sweet and the late Thomas Arthur Rheuark Sr. He had been sales manager of Hillcrest Cemetery, Inc. of Conway, since April 1969. Prior to this he was employed with United Family Life Insurance Company for 17 years. He was vice president of Continental Sales and Services of Spartanburg, a veteran of World War II, Navy, member of Murrels Inlet Ldoge 368 AFM. Surviving are his mother of Conway; widow, Mrs. Gladys Myth [sic] Rheuark of the home; three daughters, Mrs. T. J. Salerno of Raleigh, Mrs. Michael Mann of Florence and Mrs. Kenneth McLaurin of Conway; three sisters, Vera Rheuark and Mrs. Hoyt L. Hendrick of Conway and Mrs. Robert A. Hardee of Raleigh, N.C.; and three grandchildren. Mr. Mishoe, 64, was born in Horry County, a son of the late Kenneth Leroy and Lula Moore Mishoe. He was founder of B and M Tire Service, Inc. of Conway, a member of Conway Lodge 65 AFM, and Hut Bible Class. Surviving are his widow; Mrs. Louise Wilson Mishoe of the home; a son, James E. Mishoe Jr. of Conway; a daughter, Mrs. S. H. Westbrook Jr. of Valdees, N.C.; two brothers, J. N. "Pot" Mishoe of Conway and Kenneth Mishoe of Milton, Fla.; five sisters, Mrs. Pearl Spivey and Mrs. Ruby Timmons of North Charleston, Mrs. Lucile Smith and Mrs. Selma Graham of Loris and Mrs. Cecil Ritter of Charleston Heights; and six grandchildren.
