Read More	Source: Greenville News, p 7 Date: 2 May 1936 Thomas B. Bryant Thomas B. Bryant, 57, died yesterday morning at an early hour at a local hospital. He had been in declining health for some time, his condition becoming serious a few weeks ago. Mr. Bryant was a son of the late J.L. and Helen Gaffney Bryant and was born and reared in Cherokee county near Gaffney. Twenty years ago he came to Greenville and the family residence is on West Parker road. He was a plumber and steamfitter by trade and had engaged in that work for a number of years. Mr. bryant was a member of Brandon council No. 58, Junior Order United American Mechanics and of Tenotley Tribe No. 35, red Men. His wife, Mrs. Lola Henson Bryant survives him together with two daughters and one son, Misses Helen and Margaret Bryant and Alvin Bryant of this city; one sister, Mrs. Ed Broom, Gaffney and three brothers, W.H. Bryant, greenville; R. B. Bryant, Kings Mountain, N.C.; J.C. Bryant, Columbia. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Thomas McAfee funeral home tomorrow at an hour to be announced laetr. The Rev. John N. Wrenn will officiate and will be assisted by the Rev. W.H. Harbin. Interment will be made in Graceland cemetery.
