Description	:	Thomas Berry was born in Messingham, Lincolnshire, England. Early in life he embraced the religion of Jesus Christ, which has been his stay and comfort through all the trials of his long and varied life. He was united in marriage with Mary Winson, September 9, 1845. This union was blessed with 13 children. August 1867 he left England to seek a home in America, settling in Illinois, where he remained until 1882, when he moved to Texas, where he stayed but one year. He was united in marriage with Mary Winson, September 9, 1845. This union was blessed with 13 children. Then came to Seward county, Nebraska where he lived until called to his eternal reward, July 24, 1905. Father Berry leaves a wife, 9 children, 37 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and many friends to mourn his departure. Among his last words were "The Lord is everything." May He who has the power over life and death, bless the sorrowing ones and grant them a blessed reunion in heaven. The services were held at the home, conducted by G. B.
