Description	:	Thomas F. "Grandpa" White, 94, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 1997, in Geneva. He was born June 21, 1902, at Benedict, to John and Margaret (Larkin) White. He was a 1920 graduate of McCool High School and married Clara Bell Stone on Feb. 16, 1926, at McCool Junction. He farmed in the McCool area and drove a bus for McCool Public Schools for 19 years. "Grandpa" White, 94, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 1997, in Geneva. He was born June 21, 1902, at Benedict, to John and Margaret (Larkin) White. He was a 1920 graduate of McCool High School and married Clara Bell Stone on Feb. 16, 1926, at McCool Junction. He farmed in the McCool area and drove a bus for McCool Public Schools for 19 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCool. He served as fire chief for the McCool Volunteer Fire Dept. for 35 years and was well known for his attending every McCool Public School athletic event during his entire life. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter, one grandson and one granddaughter. He is survived by two daughters, Lorraine (Dale) Green and Carol Smith, both of McCool Junction; two sons, Thomas R. (Jeannie) White and Joseph (Connie) White, both of McCool Junction; 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren one sister, Cecelia Campbell of North Platte. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in York with the Rev. James Divis officiating. Burial will be in the Fairmont Catholic Cemtery.
