Don Mattingly and C.J. Moore went to Ft. Dodge to bring the body to LeRoy. Based on this information, it is believed that Thomas Larison is interred in the grave next to his sister, Catharine Larison Hamilton, in the Larison family plot. It has been confirmed there is someone buried in that unmarked grave, most likely Thomas since the Spanish War Veteran's marker is so close to the unmarked grave.
