Description	:	"Thomas H. "Tom" Obermiller age 62 of Fremont passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at his home. He was born April 17, 1954 in Fremont to Raymond and Janice (Kreizel) Obermiller. Tom grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High Scholl in 1972. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1972-1975 mostly in Germany. After his service he lived in Wichita, KS and worked for Boeing Co. for about 8 years. He then came back to Fremont and was a truck driver until 2012 when he started working at Casey's General Store. He was born April 17, 1954 in Fremont to Raymond and Janice (Kreizel) Obermiller. Tom grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High Scholl in 1972. Tom was a member of Salem Lutheran Church ELCA in Fremont. Survivors include, his wife Stephanie of Fremont, daughters, Vicki (Scott) Hank of Scribner, NE, Andi (Nate) Pribil and Amy Jo (Robert) Hansen of Fremont and Katy (Steve) Francis of Lincoln, NE; his father, Raymond D. Obermiller of Fremont; brothers, Raymond (Bud) and Nancy Obermiller of St. Louis, MO and Rodney (Mardell) Obermiller of Council, Bluffs, IA and sister Lizzetta (Victor) Elder of Pierce, CO; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice. Funeral Service 11 AM Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Michael Thomas will officiate. Visitation with family receiving friends will be from 10-11 AM Wednesday at the church. Military Honors will be conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of VFW Post #854 and American Legion Post #20 following the service at the church. Memorials may be left to the family."
