Description	:	Believed to have been born ca 1760 VA, son of John Haughey. Thomas was a soldier in the Revolutionary War, Ohio DAR Record, Roster 1, pg 178. The Haughey homestead was the 1st brick farmhouse going south on Rt 72 from Bowersville. The kitchen floor has a trap door supposed to be used for hiding slaves for the Underground Railroad.
