Gaston May 11, 1924 -- Aug. 13, 2005 Port Hadlock resident Thomas H. ``Tommy'' Gaston died in Kai Tai Care Center, Port Townsend, of complications from pneumonia and stroke. He was born in Yakima to Denver Washington and Anne Lorena (John) Gaston. As a young boy, he worked in the hop fields and apple orchards. Later, he worked in the family's logging business for many years. The family moved to Cle Elum, then to Tacoma before settling in Jefferson County in 1942. He was preceded in death by brothers Denver, Harold, Stanley and Raymond. Services: Saturday, Aug. 27, 1 p.m., graveside committal service in Greenwood Cemetery, Chimacum. Potluck will follow at the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Hall, 11323 Rhody Drive, Port Hadlock. Kosec Funeral Home, Port Townsend, is in charge of arrangements.
