He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Arthur Wilson, and he grew to manhood in this vicinity. He was married December 31, 1914, to Miss Nola Burlingham of Central City. Read More	Obituary from Central City Newletter; 2/19/1931 Thomas James Wilson was born March 1, 1892, at Paralta, Iowa. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Arthur Wilson, and he grew to manhood in this vicinity. He was married December 31, 1914, to Miss Nola Burlingham of Central City. To this union, one child, Kenneth was born. During the pastorate of Rev. C. E. Luce, Mr. Wilson united with the Methodist Church of Central City. Last Monday afternoon, February 9, he met with an accident at the Iowa Manufacturing Company's plant in Cedar Rapids which resulted in his death at St. Lukes Hospital Thursday, February 12. Deceased is survived by his widow and his son Kenneth, a sister, Mrs. Melvin Wright of near Center Point, and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Wilson was well liked by everyone who knew him. He was honest and industrious, genial and whole souled in all his contacts with his fellow men. In his untimely death his employers have lost a faithful, capable workman, the community a good citizen, and the family a kind and loving fatherand husband. The funeral service was held Sat. afternoon in the Methodist Church, Rev. George W. Self officiating.
