Thomas Lee Gregory was the son of Raymond William and Shirley Ann Ingram Gregory. He was a 1971 graduate of the Montezuma High School. After graduation he attended Kirkwood Community College for 2 years. Tom worked at several different jobs throughout his life. He was a forklift driver at Amana, drove a truck for Wenco, and worked maintenance at the Marengo Care Center. While working full time, he would always find time to help his parents on the farm. In 2002, he started T & D Plumbing. He provided services for contractors as well as private homeowners. Most recently Tom was working at Kinze Manufacturing as a forklift operator. Tom always lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed a good dance, loved camping in the great outdoors, and was a long time John Deere supporter. He was proud to always have the best lawnmower and put it to good use caring for his yard. Tom was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Brooklyn Volunteer Fire Department. He will be remembered as a friendly, caring man with a big heart and a friendly smile.
