Description	:	Tom was born on February 16, 1930 to Leroy and Anna Pearl (Wilson) Beins at Clinton, MO. He was raised and schooled at Murray, NE., graduating from Plattsmouth High School, with the class of 1948. Tom enlisted in the US Air Force. He met the love of his life, Mona Dell Patterson, at a dance in Syracuse, NE., in December of 1950, they immediately knew they were meant to be together. Read More	Tom was born on February 16, 1930 to Leroy and Anna Pearl (Wilson) Beins at Clinton, MO. He was raised and schooled at Murray, NE., graduating from Plattsmouth High School, with the class of 1948. Tom enlisted in the US Air Force. He met the love of his life, Mona Dell Patterson, at a dance in Syracuse, NE., in December of 1950, they immediately knew they were meant to be together. Tom was stationed at Offutt Air Force in Bellevue, was deployed to Iceland and they corresponded daily for a year. When he returned home, they were married on June 15, 1952 in Weeping Water. Tom and Mona made their home in California where he was stationed for two years, and their first child Randall was born. He was discharged from the Air Force, they returned to Weeping Water, where they owned Tomona Market in Weeping Water for two years. While in Weeping Water their second child Pam was born. Tom was employed for over thirty years by the US Postal Service rising to the position of Post Master of Weeping Water, NE. He and Mona moved to Plattsmouth, NE in 1992. Tom was a devoted husband, Father, Grandpa, Great Grandpa and friend. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 365, Plattsmouth, NE for 62 years, had held the Office of President and was secretary for many years. He also was State President of the Eagles 1993-1994, and was inducted into the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall of Fame in 2005. Tom was a Mason for 22 years, and was on the Board of Directors for Casco Arms 25 years.
