This is confirmed on his birth record and death record. Thomas was the son of Crawford and Agnes Stevenson Lindsay. In 1887 he left Scotland and came to the U.S. with his step mother, step siblings and younger brother. His father and older brother had arrived in the U.S. prior, probably to find employment and housing. They were Ironstone miners in Scotland and later coal miners in Pennsylvania and Montana....
