Description	:	Mr. Thomas Lloyd Rainey, 85, of Yuma, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 10, 2010, at 3:00 PM at the Faith in Christ Ministries Church. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Brother Wayne Burton will officiate the services. Mr. Rainey was born January 17, 1925, in Yuma, Tennessee, to the late Addison Eskew Rainey and Bevie (Wall) Rainey. Brother Wayne Burton will officiate the services. Mr. Rainey was born January 17, 1925, in Yuma, Tennessee, to the late Addison Eskew Rainey and Bevie (Wall) Rainey. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Rainey, two brothers, Warren Rainey and Willie Rainey. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Sara Rainey, two daughters, Marsha Jester, of Selmer, Tennessee, Alesia Rhodes, of Yuma, Tennessee, two sons, Warren Rainey, of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Lloyd Rainey, of Memphis, Tennessee. He also leaves six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers who served were Warren Rainey, Lloyd Rainey, William Rhodes, William Rhodes, Jr., Josh Rainey and Wesley Cary. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 PM till 8 PM at Dilday – Carter Funeral Home and on Sunday from 1 PM till time of services at the Faith in Christ Ministries Church.
