Description	:	Thomas McCormick was born in New York, October 14, 1864. When he was four years old he went to Ireland with his parents. At an early age, he returned to the states with an uncle and aunt. He was married to Miss Ellen Healy. To this union were born eleven children. Four sons and his wife preceded him in death. Mr. McCormick was a retired section foreman, formerly at Exeter. He passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carl Songster, in Exeter, March 3, 1944. He was a resident of Seward County for about thirty-five years. funeral services were held Monday morning, March 6, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Rev. A. A. Antochowski officiating.
