Description	:	Thomas Noble, 77, a well known resident of this city, and making his home at 10 Whidden Street, died at the home of his son, Harold Noble, on Byrne Avenue, Nabnasset. He was born in Glossop, England, the son of Joe and Mary (Hall) Noble and came to this country at an early age. Read More	Thomas Noble, 77, a well known resident of this city, and making his home at 10 Whidden Street, died at the home of his son, Harold Noble, on Byrne Avenue, Nabnasset. He was born in Glossop, England, the son of Joe and Mary (Hall) Noble and came to this country at an early age. For a period of 30 years prior to his retirement in 1953, he was a foreman for the Waterhead Mills. Mr. Noble was a very active member of the Matthews Memorial Church and had served as superintendent of the Sunday School for that parish. His wife, Lillian (Ashton) Noble and daughter, Elsie Elizabeth Noble precede him in death. He is survived by a son, Harold Noble of Lowell; and a sister, Mary Jane Noble of North Chelmsford. Funeral services for Thomas Noble of 10 Whidden Street, were held at the Blake Memorial Funeral Home, 508 Westford Street, where Rev. Arthur E. Hiley, pastor of the Matthews Memorial Church, and Rev. Lee Ashton, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Otisville, NY, and a brother-in-law of the deceased, officiated. Bearers were Rowland T. Fletcher, George S. Higginbottom, Neil A. Larsen, H. Lee Noble, Charles N. Robinson, and Arthur W. Stancombe, Sr. Internment in Edson Cemetery. Arrangements by Blake Memorial Funeral Home, Directors Cortlandt J. Burkleshaw and F. Warren Johnston.
