St., following a seven year illness. He was born July 21, 1884 at Grandview, the son of John and Martha Rockafellow [Rockefeller] Curtis. He was a Muscatine resident 63 years. He married Mona Brimm, August 17, 1910 at Muscatine. He was a member of the First Methodist church and operated a barber shop at 208 Iowa Ave. for 47 years. He was a member of the barbers union... St., following a seven year illness. He was born July 21, 1884 at Grandview, the son of John and Martha Rockafellow [Rockefeller] Curtis. He was a Muscatine resident 63 years. He married Mona Brimm, August 17, 1910 at Muscatine. He was a member of the First Methodist church and operated a barber shop at 208 Iowa Ave. for 47 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mona Curtis; a son, Orville Brimm Curtis, Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Ollie Thompson, Grandview; and several nieces and nephews. One sister, Delia Ongrahm, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Monday, at the Ralph J. Wittich funeral home. The Rev. Edwin Frohardt will officiate.
