Description	:	Thomas Painter, son of Martha (née McIntire) and Nathaniel Painter, was born 14 March 1851 in Truro Township, Franklin County, Ohio. Thomas Painter followed his father into farming, and later became a butcher in Columbus, Ohio. Thomas Painter and Caroline Hissong were married on 2 May 1871 in Franklin County.
