Description	:	Thomas Wayne Morris, 73, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown. Mr. Morris was born April 9, 1940, in Georgetown, a son of the late Thomas Leon Morris and the late Lois McCants Morris Wiggins. He grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School. He was a member of Harper's Lodge No. 225 Ancient Free Masons in Andrews, Omar Shrine Club in Mount Pleasant, a past director of Omar Volunteers in Andrews, and Omar Shrine Road Runners. Read More	Thomas Wayne Morris, 73, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown. Mr. Morris was born April 9, 1940, in Georgetown, a son of the late Thomas Leon Morris and the late Lois McCants Morris Wiggins. He grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School. He was a member of Harper's Lodge No. 225 Ancient Free Masons in Andrews, Omar Shrine Club in Mount Pleasant, a past director of Omar Volunteers in Andrews, and Omar Shrine Road Runners. Wayne enjoyed helping crippled and burned children by transporting them for treatment at various Shriner's Hospitals. As a Road Runner, he made 220 trips to and from Shriner's Hospitals in Texas, Ohio, and South Carolina. He enjoyed cooking, especially barbeque and pileau. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and had retired from Liberty Life Insurance Company. On December 23, 1967, he was married to Barbara Price. They celebrated 45 years together. He was survived by his wife of Andrews; a son, Flynn Morris of Andrews; a daughter-in-law, Crystal W. Morris of Andrews; two daughters, Sheilah (David) Webb of Lexington and Eve (Doug) Eggiman of Pawleys Island; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Autumn, Cameron, and Emily Morris, all of Andrews, and Stephanie, Tiffany, and Victoria Eggiman, all of Pawleys Island; three sisters, Mary Lois Furches and Virginia Ann (Jerry) Brown, both of Kingstree, and Elisa (Gerald) Smith of Anderson; a brother, Grady (Kim) Wiggins of Lexington; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roy and Louise Gilbert and Charles and Doris Price, all of Andrews, N.C.; a very special niece, Paula Price of Murrells Inlet; and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his step-father, Grady Wilson Wiggins. Memorial services were Friday, November 8, 2013, in Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Ben Gafford and the Rev. Murray Powell officiated. Inurnment was private. (Andrews Memorial Cemetery Mayer Funeral Home was in charge.
