Description	:	Thomas William Osborne, 80, of Luray, died on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at MontVue Nursing Home. He was born on Sept. 26, 1931, in Luray and was a son of the late Thomas Price Osborne and Abby Lena Comer Osborne. Mr. Osborne was a member of the Luray High School Class of 1949 and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served during the Korean War. Read More	Thomas William Osborne, 80, of Luray, died on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at MontVue Nursing Home. He was born on Sept. 26, 1931, in Luray and was a son of the late Thomas Price Osborne and Abby Lena Comer Osborne. Mr. Osborne was a member of the Luray High School Class of 1949 and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served during the Korean War. He began his career in 1966 with Luray Ready Mix for 10 years and worked until retirement for Rockingham Redi-Mix. He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church, Lafayette Lodge 137 AF&AM and the Caverns Shrine Club in Luray. On May 4, 1953, he married the former Louanna Virginia Gray, who died on Oct. 19, 2010. He is survived by three daughters, Deborah Gail Whitmer, Donna Lou Bell and Patricia Ann Jenkins, all of Luray; two sons, Michael Paige Burrill and George William Burrill Jr., both of Luray; a brother, Lawrence Edward Osborne of Luray; a sister, Cornelia Ann Hoak of Luray; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Lee Osborne. A funeral service was conducted on Friday, Sept. 21, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Dr. Charles Jolley. Burial was in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray, with Masonic and military honors.
