Description : Will came west with his parents in 1881, receiving his education by governess, then the Mission in St. Albert, then finishing in Ottawa. In 1893 he starting looking after his father's homestead, and then filed on his own homestead in 1896. He married Eleanor Robinson in 1902. Will was Farm Instructor for the Montana and Samson Indian Reserves, and so they moved near Samson, then Hobbema, before returning to the homestead in 1915. In the 1920's they farmed silver foxes, and about 1930 Will took over the postal route. Will and Nellie raised eight children. Read More
