This cowboy banker with an unforgettable singing voice was born to Willis Cecil Wagner and Evelyn Lucille (Roeber) Wagner in the beautiful prairie lands of Redfield, South Dakota on September 4 1945. Read More	Livingston Enterprise - February 2018 On the evening of February 20, 2018, Thomas Willis Wagner, of Livingston, peacefully and bravely entered the gates of heaven. This cowboy banker with an unforgettable singing voice was born to Willis Cecil Wagner and Evelyn Lucille (Roeber) Wagner in the beautiful prairie lands of Redfield, South Dakota on September 4 1945. It is there he met his best friend and high school sweetheart, Bev Masat. They married in 1967. In 1980, Tom and Bev moved their family to Missoula, where he continued his banking career. They later moved to Bozeman and then retired in Livingston. In Montana, Tom was able to fulfill his dream of riding his horses without opening a gate. You could always count on Tom for a smile, firm handshake, a song and an Ole and Lena joke. Among his sources of pride include his family, his service to our country, and the Rotary Express Rides he organized to raise funds for Bozeman Community children in need. Tom was an NRA lifetime member, a 50 year Mason, as well as Shriner, and a Rotary Club member and past president. He was a man of integrity and a man of his word. He will be missed, but not forgotten. He is survived by and gratefully shared his life with his wife, Bev; son Bill (Sara); daughter Kate (Kirk); six grandchildren and his sister, Marianne (Mark) Baumberger and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Cecil Wagner and Evelyn Lucille (Roeber) Wagner and infant brother, Gregory Wagner (1950). A memorial service in Tom’s honor will be held in Livingston, at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 1 at Holbrook United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at the American Legion Post #23. A memorial in Tom’s name has been created to benefit the American Legion Post #23 of Livingston.
