She grew to womanhood in the Bell Creek neighborhood and graduated from Oakland High school and attended teachers' college at Wayne, Nebr. She was the first teacher to teach in Viles Rural High school and later taught in the Oakland schools, Groton, S.D. and Clear Lake, Ia. She was united in marriage in 1931 to L.T. She leaves to mourn her untimely demise her husband, two sons and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Luther Christensen of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; Mrs. Leona Gleason and Mrs. Fred Christensen of Lyons, Nebr.; Mrs. James Eastwood of Fergus Falls, Minn.; Mrs. Stewart Daniels of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; Mrs. George Halverson, Miss Mary Hansen, Mrs. Henry Western and Fred Hansen, and her father, all of Rothsay, Minn., and Pvt. Holger Hansen, stationed at San Diego, Calif. One brother preceded her in death. Funeral services were held last Saturday at Cedar Rapids, Ia., and interment was made in the Cedar Memorial cemetery.
