Thyra attended Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Pine Hill Church of God, Kinser Church of God and Bethel Baptist Church where she was the pianist for many years. Thyra also wrote and directed many Christmas and Easter Cantatas. She was an accomplished pianist and music teacher. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School Class of 1955. Spence, Robert D. and Anna Cook, Jeffery L. and Pam Cook and Stephanie M. and Dale Clark all of Cleveland; 19 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 8 siblings: James F. Sliger, Charles E.
