Description	:	Tillie Fecht, 84, of Allison died on December 5, 2001 at the Waverly Municipal Hospital in Waverly of natural causes. On February 4, 1917, Tillie was born the daughter of Gerriet and Harmka (Russman) Eilderts in Kesley, Iowa. She was educated in the rural Butler County Schools. On February 15, 1940, she was united in marriage to Reiner Fecht in Butler County. She was a homemaker and a housekeeper at UNI for 10 1/2 years. She was a member of the Reformed Church of Stout, and was baptized on April 15, 1917 at Bethel Reformed Church. She and her husband... On February 4, 1917, Tillie was born the daughter of Gerriet and Harmka (Russman) Eilderts in Kesley, Iowa. She was educated in the rural Butler County Schools. On February 15, 1940, she was united in marriage to Reiner Fecht in Butler County. She was a homemaker and a housekeeper at UNI for 10 1/2 years. She was a member of the Reformed Church of Stout, and was baptized on April 15, 1917 at Bethel Reformed Church. She and her husband were custodians at Bethel Reformed Church and mowed the church cemetery. She enjoyed reading and sewing. Survivors include her husband: Reiner Fecht of Allison two daughters: Harriet and husband Kermit Pothast of Fredricksburg, and Mary Fecht of Waverly; two sons: Gary and wife Karen Fecht of Shell Rock and Merle Fecht of Waco, Texas; one brother: Steno Eilderts of Aplington four sisters: Gertie Kolpek of Grundy Center, Bena Krull of Grundy Center, Ruth Mulder of Dike, and Marie Menken of Greene; two grandchildren Scott Pothast and Brian Fecht. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, three brothers, and one daughter Lois. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 8, 2001 at the Reformed Church of Stout with Rev. David H. Powers officiating. Special music was provided by organists Merle Fecht and Elaine Schnell accompanying the congre-gational singing. Pallbearers were Darwin Fecht, Brian Fecht, Scott Pothast, Lenis Buseman, Gerald Eidlerts and David Wiegmann. Final resting place was in the Bethel Reformed Church Cemetery, rural Aplington.
