Description	:	Tillie Kock was born on a farm south of Lennox, SD. on Feb.2, 1895, the daughter of Folkert and Talka Smit. She attended rural school and grew to womanhood there. In 1925 she moved to Lennox with her father. On Feb. 4, 1926 she was married to Martin Flitz. They farmed southeast of Lennox and he died on Nov. 24, 1942. In 1943 she moved into Lennox. On Nov. 29, 1945 she was married to Henry Kock. They lived in Lennox their entire married life. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1977. She was an active and faithful member of... On Nov. 29, 1945 she was married to Henry Kock. They lived in Lennox their entire married life. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1977. She was an active and faithful member of Second Reformed Church of Lennox. Following a lengthy illness, Mrs. Kock died at the Sioux Falls Care Center on Jun. 24, 1978, having attained the age of 83 years, four months and 22 days. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Elvin (Matilda) Fincher of rural Sioux Falls; two grandchildren, Mrs. Lendall (Marlene) Lendall Geiken of Sioux Falls and Allen Fincher of Lennox; four great-grandsons; on great-granddaughter: one brother, Folkert E. Smit of Lennox and one sister, Mrs. Anna Buse of Lennox.
