At the time of her passing, she was a resident of Bickford Cottage in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she received expert and loving care for several years as a patient in their memory unit. Tina was born on July 17, 1931 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. At the time of her passing, she was a resident of Bickford Cottage in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she received expert and loving care for several years as a patient in their memory unit. Tina was born on July 17, 1931 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Her parents, Leopold and Anna Tomalla Boucher, had both passed away by the time Tina turned fifteen, leaving her to be guided through her teenage years by her older brother, LaVerne. After high school, Tina worked as a secretary at the University of Wisconsin Madison in the College of Agriculture. She later moved to Lincoln when she married Leon Morton Novak. The Novaks enjoyed thirty years of devoted marriage until Tina's beloved Mort passed away in 2007. Tina's family and friends admired her warm and ebullient personality, her talents as a needlepoint artist, painter, golfer, and gourmet cook, and her creative touch which she lavished upon the home and acreage so dear to her and to Mort. Tina is also remembered as an enthusiastic dog owner. She lovingly cared for sixteen canine pals over the course of her life. Tina is survived by: stepchildren Vicki Novak, Terri (Novak) Delebo (John), and Tyler Novak; grandchildren, Ross and Jack Delebo and Charles, Ani, and Eva Novak. A private memorial event was held. Friends who wish to honor Tina may pay respects at any time at the Columbarium memorial garden at First-Plymouth Congregational Church in Lincoln.
